This is the only sentence that adresses a comparison between GM soy and organic soy (or something similar to organic). Comparing GM soy to beef is not relevant to this dicussion. I'd like to see a full defense of why you choose to use GM soy over organic soy. I'm a molecular biologist (15 years at UC Berkeley) so I'm not terribly concerned about the genes themselves. I'm more concerned about the tactics used by Bayer (/Monsanto) and the impact of this style of intensive agriculture (use of neonics, nitrogen, monoculture, etc.) on habitats.
